Ninth Annual Kitchen Tour Features Five Homes, Chefs

 

The AAUW Beaver Valley Branch will hold its ninth annual Kitchen Tour, “Touring and Tasting Delights”, on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

 

Dutch Ridge Elementary School, Marketplace and Cafe in Brighton Township will again be the location for Specialty Boutiques, Bake Sale, Handbag Sale, Raffles and the gourmet luncheon.  The gourmet lunch will consist of the traditional Kitchen Tour turkey sandwich with delectable accompaniments.

 

Thanks to a generous friend, we will again hold a silent auction for a one week's stay  (November 5-12, 2010 at the condo at Keystone Ski Resort in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado (A value of $1500-1800)   This item will appear on our raffle table for a minimum bid of $500.

 

 The proceeds of “Touring and Tasting Delights” benefit the AAUW Educational Foundation which awards scholarships annually to local women graduates.  At our May 2010 meeting, four very deserving and accomplished women were awarded scholarships made possible by our annual fundraising event.

                             10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Dutch Ridge Elementary School

 

PRICE:                  Pre-sale $15.00                   At Door $18.00

 

                             Pre-sale tour tickets can be purchased from members,  at

                             the Hostess Shoppe in Beaver and also at A Cook's Wares in Beaver, or

                             by calling Ann: 724-728-7908.

                            

                             Lunch tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the Hostess Shoppe until

                             9/22/2010.  Lunch tickets will not be available the day of the tour.
